With the push for green products, services and thinking patterns, the ABVRS is the in the right place at the right time. By eliminating the Carp problem from our rivers we save not only the commercial fishing industry in the Illinois river, we save the tourism industry in as far away as Canada. Because if Carp were to penetrate the electric barrier preventing the them from entering Lake Michigan. In a few years they would multiply and spead throughout the Great Lakes and into Canada. This would destroy the game fishing industry as we know it. The suppression of Asian Carp needs to happen now while the problem is still somewhat contained.
 In the case of Carp infested lakes,
controlling or eliminating Carp brings back
an appealling crystal clear quality
